Alcohol makes a jackass

Living in Miami my entire life is quite interesting because of the different cultures we have. Of course, the majority of the residents came from Cuba. Then, other nations follow, anywhere from Nicaragua all the way to China, but for the most part half of the city speaks Spanish. With such a diversity, you would figure Miami has a ton of things to offer. However, it seems like Miami doesn't really have lot's of things to do for the young like in other places. The situation lies that there is, but is more for an older crowd. Well, I take that back, they do; however, it's not a good thing. What I am talking about is the nightclubs. From South Beach to Coconut Grove, you can find a night to dance and drink your ass away anywhere in the city. Clubs are as common like encountering a Waffle House, while driving north on I-95.
The nightclub industry could make anyone rich. But, what makes club owners rich aside from the underground money spent on illegal drugs? Well, on a drug that our magnificent lawmakers legalized in 1920: Alcohol.
Alcohol, in my opinion should be illegal. Shoot, I would legalize marijuana over alcohol. When was the last time your heard or read in the news of someone be arrested for driving high? Walk to any of these night clubs and you are bound to get in a scuffle for perhaps the most microscopic thing. People in clubs fight over the color of their drinks. Who’s the cause of this? I blame the owners and lawmakers for being greedy and excessivly continue to sell alcohol in high quantity. We all know that alcohol is a major economical industry. Yet, alcohol is responsible for accidents that should have never occured in the first place. Alcohol is accoutable for rapes and a social behavior of human beings that is unacceptable by any normal human being.
Let's take a look at women first and how they handle alcohol. Aren't our wonderful legislators aware of how many rapes are caused by this lovely remedy, as some call it, that brings millions of dollars to the rich people’s pockets. Some women are raped because they don't remember their names after say 3 drinks. Face it, some women can't drink and when they do, well, they go overboard and cause a show. Sadly, some morons rape these impeccable women causing them, at times, to become pregnant. Walk by or go inside any of these Miami clubs and you will see women of all ages puking their lives away. Things like one night stands and “a fling” seems to be cool now a days and isn’t considered immoral. Unfortunatly, some of these women have the child only for the young one to suffer. No one should bring a child to this world for it could suffer. Maybe, if they would have controlled their drinking their judgement would have been clear and they would’ve known what was going on. There the women and the drink is blame for this.
Another situation is when males put drugs into women's drinks. Women are not aware of it because they might be too drunk. Remember, and I do believe this, men can handle liquor better then women.
Now, shifting gears, men fight for no reason when they are drunk. Have a random guy look at his girlfriend and you can bet a tackle is coming right up your alley. People are getting shot for no reason. The only reason they say is, "It was the alcohol". Marriages are broken because alcohol causes fights or simply they cheat on their significant other. Why? Well, I was drunk. It was the alcohol that made me do it. There is no boundaries with alcohol. Eliminate alcohol and you have taken out an excuse.
Sadly, and it doesn't matter the gender, these people drive home. Many poeple's lives are in danger, when these scumbags hit the road. These are people with no determination and no love for anyone, not even themselves. Poor little Mario could be coming home after a grave yard shift. He works hard to feed his family and here comes this moron he is basically toasted after drinking and “boom” Mario is killed. All because they were having a blast with alcohol.
Another example, well, this happend about a month or so in Miami; People are getting shot for ignorant arguments. This year about 20 people have been involved in an argument in the downtown area. About 3 of the 20 died of gunshot wounds. When people are on this drug, life doesn't really matter to them and it's all about what they believe. Drunk people always think they are always right to do anything including driving.
So, what's my conclusion: Simple, either ban alcohol or limit it in the club. By limiting it at least you gave them that little liquor you needed. All people need is a little bit to feel the gest. Remember, for some unknown reason, liquor must be drank in the club. Reasons, which I have no idea about. Whoever said you need to be drunk to have a blast in the club. Also, these money hungry scumbags should find a job that doesn't inlucde murdering the future. As far as the legislation, they should stop worrying about grant money being handed to them to add more trees for the city and should start embarking on a journey to stop selling alcohol at a maximum rate because more and more people are doing off something dumb like this liquor. What is going to take for these people to reduce the alcohol? It's not death because we've had about 3 just this year, here, in the downtown Miami area. Note, this is what has been reported. Maybe, somehow, the attention will come to them when they realize alcohol is destroying of many things including the new generation. Also, a word to our generation: Stop acting retarded, while drinking. We need to bring back morals that have been lost in order to be respected.
